I’ve been going to Olbrich Gardens my whole life (and don’t leave the house without my card) — so when I was approached to do the 2025 Orchid Escape poster, I leapt at the opportunity.

I was asked to include a few specific details — but was given artistic freedom for much of the poster. It was important to me to include pieces of the conservatory & give the idea that you’re walking into the jungle.

I had a lot of fun hiding little pieces of the jungle, and looking at many, many pictures of orchids and tropical plants.
