Sunday Reset
Spring 2023
Seasonal Brochure | Adv. Design & Layout @ Madison College
Sunday Reset was a school project focusing on type layout in brochure & magazine design. Along with type layout, I used this project to practice editorial illustration. In my brochure, I aimed to promote the Monona Farmer’s Market as a weekly reset and community gathering space.
I originally designed and illustrated this brochure in the spring of ‘23, revisiting it later for a portfolio class. I wasn’t satisfied with my initial design, and knew I could strengthen it with a bit more work. With fresh eyes a year later, I opted to re-illustrate every spread to create a more harmonious theme and color palette throughout the brochure. I kept pieces of the initial design, and completely reworked others.
Much of the body copy in the brochure was sourced from the Monona Farmers Market website, excluding “Farmers Markets as Community Centerpieces” by Anne L. Alonzo, additional copy on page 1 and 5 were written by me.
